I have a cull rooster name Ope. (I just called him Opi, momentary lapse or not enough coffee, I'm not sure) Very similar!

My Dh calls him Opi-One-Kenopi!

I think the temptation of that tasty looking cake would be too much for any animal. And probably most humans too! Only the strongest could resist that cake.

Well, we didn't really get much snow in the first place. Most of the ground is already pretty bare.

No coturnix quail are great layers. Mine even layed in winter.
My incubator is a Brinsea Octagon 20. It is fairly small so i was forced to order another incubator since i will have quail eggs and guinea eggs and the quail eggs will take up the whole incubator. What a shame.
