We now have 4 little Coturnix/Japanese quail babies and they are so adorable. They really want to interact with us and potter over to have a cuddle when we put our hands in. Here's one that our DD has named Snowflake. Her mother is a beautiful and sweet white girl. We also got another white from our golden bunch who are in with a white boy. The other two chicks might turn out to be golden or like Colossus (who I am trying to get a decent photo of).

Jae congrats on the new quail babies they are so adorable and tiny! I hope that XTC Hola does not cause any damage. Stay Safe! They are predicting a TC off the Queensland Coast some time this week but hopefully only a Cat 1.

Thank you all for your concern about our safety; we are fine and hubby has not returned after leaving for work this morning so I am assuming he got through OK; working at Council, he is going to be very busy I think.

I believe Ingham is still cut off from major cities to the north and south but the flood waters are receding and the clean up process has commenced.

Yep, relocated wildlife [snakes and crocs] are definitely a concern; along with mosquitoes and dirty water etc. All reports indicate that the town water supply was not compromised.

His name is Derek Mrdjenovich but his music is under the name Walkney. I've been following him since his other band a few years ago The Big Time and even Walkney had one or two other members from the original band at first but now it's just him but yeah.
