Cap - you've got a winter wonderland! Is it supposed to stick around or will it just be a brief reminder of winter?

Kelsey, I love Libby's white socks - they are just too cute! And the little white tail tip. :love

It's just windy here today - I must get on and do some washing to make the most of it.

Here is the mighty Colossus towering over his hatchmates. He's just over 3 weeks old now and crowing!

He is an odd colour and I've had two males like this (before the rats got them). He's from my Rosetta birds who have the gold colour in their genes. The other one that hatched just after him looks like a girl thankfully (different colour). I've now got 5 new hatchlings so hopefully there are a few more girls there.

Very Nice!

You need more sleep @Blooie!

Good morning I think, the time change is affecting me already. Put it back !!:tongue
I AGREE!! It was FINALLY starting to get light at 6 AM and now it is back to 7 AM. Thanks (NOT) GWB. DD2s new BF is from Peru, working (as are about 50 other college students) at the ski area here on "summer break". He said an hour of his life was stolen and he wants it back. I guess Peru will have to make that up to him since they don't observe stoopid DST. He's leaving in about a week.

Now I hear that FL wants to be on Atlantic time or permanent daylight "saving" time. Note that there is NO "saved" daylight. The sun comes up, it goes down, that is daylight. Either would take an act of congress. A state can choose not to observe DST but it can't choose to change the dates of start and stop. And it is unlikely there would be approval for another time zone.

(kept meaning to go to sleep and even put my phone down at 6 but kept getting back on it)
You, like many people, need to lock that sucker up for 8 hours at night. Give the key to someone who will kill you if you wake them up for it.

Northern Death Adder
Um, Teila, that does NOT sound like something you want to come in contact with!

Odd thing is I haven't stayed up that late in foreverrrrrr and have been going to sleep by midnight or 1. Even went to sleep between 10 and 11 for a few nights! But now that I'm on break and also all my classes got cancelled last week except Wednesday I'm like woooo hooooo lol it's bad.

Also they might approve if enough people want it! I heard Maine wanted to change but would only do it if the rest of New England and possibly New York did it. Mass is considering it too

Hi everyone! I'm (obviously) back and trying to catch up on everything...both here and at home. I'll work on getting caught up on posts in the morning with lots of coffee to keep me going. Maybe I'll even get all zillion photos loaded on the computer. We had a wonderful vacation and DH is already talking about our next one (which is weird for him, workaholic that he is).
