More garden pictures! But, with a difference, these ones have chickens in them! We let the girls out for a wander with hubby and I looking skywards for any signs of Hawks, which we have in huge numbers. We were feeling bad for them because of all the rain and thought it would be nice to give them a run before the next deluge.

Of course, Dusty made a beeline for the mulch! A couple of the girls are looking a bit scraggly, tis the season to be moulting ..........

Well, we're trying to decide whether to drive to Cheyenne or not.

Guys at work think I'm a loon because I like quail TV.

I think you need to let your co-workers in on the fun of poultry-keeping...especially the guy that is amazed at all the little things we take for granted (like fresh eggs). Some people just have no idea where their food comes from.

I know. And I'm a scaredy cat anyway. It's no fun thinking about driving that road, especially at 30 mph.

Good choice!!! We’re keeping an eye on weather here too, since we have to go Billings later. We’re gonna try to time it so we leave here and get checked in before anything wanders our way. It’s clear, sunny and up to 34 but that can change in a heartbeat!
