The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Sorry to hear that:hugs

Michelle, I wish I could teleport you some firewood... Sorry about the eggs...

KD I have two dead ponds... fallen trees etc changed the flow of water and they no longer fill. One is an acre the other is a quarter acre. One day I'll get it fixed...

I've learned to hate the digital shoe box. Takes way more mouse clicks to categorize each receipt... Then move it to the correct folder. I HATE TAXES!:he:rant

I think I'll probably go with 3 feet then or maybe slightly deeper or shallower in some areas?
I would definitely step it, that way the fish have shallower and deeper water to choose from.
Jealous! I hate electric stoves.
Then there is DD2 who claims propane and natural gas stoves give her a headache, even with the fan on. She might have a problem finding an apartment in what passes for cities here. NG is cheaper than electricity so people have gas stoves.

Apologies in advance for all the pictures which may be boring for some.

Huge day in the garden again today ..... chipped away at the palms, only 3 to go now behind the girls. With the undergrowth gone, there will be less mosquitoes and more breeze while still retaining shade.

Repotted and popped a pink elephant ear under the avocado tree; along with a pink yucca. Repotted a pup from another elephant ear.

To refresh your memory, this is what under the stairs looked like when I arrived:

Same spot today .... much tidier and tropical.

The Croton my neighbour gave me:

Remember the little Sunbird who has been building a nest on a piece of string hanging under the house and whom I have been trying to catch on camera? Ta Da! Today he was picking chicken feathers off the run wire to use to line the nest :love
