Debby, pretty big fire down your way that started at the sawmill in Saratoga, if you’re smelling smoke in the air and wondering about it. Waiting for more details from friends who live there - so far all I know is the winds are making it a pretty tough battle but not sure which direction they are blowing from. If they’re like most of the winds here, they can’t make up their minds! Wyoming - the only kind of winds we don’t get here are tailwinds! You can drive 100 miles east into a headwind, make a u-turn to drive back the way you came and STILL be driving into a headwind. Grrrr. Prayers for Saratoga and everyone involved and fighting this thing.

Thanks for the heads up B, I hadn't heard about it. I believe that same mill burned down a couple years ago (unless Saratoga has more than one?). Our first summer here one of DH's maintenance guys left to work down there and then it burned down.

You're right about the crazy winds, that's gotta be tough for fire fighters.

Good morning Bob and everyone

Yoo hoo, I have the WHOLE day off today! DH decided to close the course today due to weather. It's 50* now but the temps are dropping with rain starting this morning and snow this afternoon. More BYC time for me today!

What would be scarier is what if you didn't wake up before the lack of air actually killed you?

Well since I read the entire Wikipedia article, sometimes there would be breathing tubes that let fresh oxygen in. Some caskets even had feeding tubes!

I have read where they had to dig up coffins to move a cemetary and found sctatches inside the coffin lid!

There have been instances where they have found people OUTSIDE of the coffins in poorly built caskets. I dunno how much I can believe of that....
