Today I went up into the attic to check on the gable fan up there. The motor is seized up so I have a new one coming. The attic is not much fun to get to. I will be up there again next weekend but will work earlier in the day. It gets very hot up there.

I spend a lot of time working in the yard today--pruning and trimming hegges. I also weeded the Strawberries.
It is time to rest now!

I'm keeping an eye on properties listed but we haven't physically gone looking yet. We are still a bit of a way off getting our place on the market. I start thinking about all the little bits and pieces that still need doing and I feel a bit overwhelmed but we'll get there.

Sorry about your work hours. That sounds rather ridiculous!

It seemed like every snow covered hill had its very own color in the low spots. The shadows on the snow from the pine forests were even deeper. I could get lost in those colors.

Sounds divine! It's been a very still, grey day here but we have tui (a native bird - pronounced ''too-ee'') singing their little hearts out like it's spring for some reason. Crazy birds!

Good morning!

We were so busy at the golf course yesterday. Good to see lots of people come out and enjoy themselves. Today will be easier...instead of 12 hours, only 7 :D

Having a hard time waking up, better get started on that 2nd cup of coffee :caf
