The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good Morning Friends :hugs

I love your avatar Michelle! Sorry to hear about the truck and trailer dramas; very frustrating! :he Good luck with the sale :fl

Adorable bunnies Cap! :love

Thank you all for the well wishes regarding my contract work. My business name has been approved and I just registered it for 3 years.

Michelle I probably will not take a vacation as I will need to ‘prove’ myself with the transcription business so I may not get too much work at the start and need to work up to being one of their preferred typists ;) I can use the pay out as back up funds while I get established.

Plans for today; trip in to town for a small shop and some bamboo stakes for my capsicums, home to do a bit of pottering in the garden and at 2PM the boys are playing in the AFL so some yelling at the television will be on the cards :p

These are the first ones i have owned. They are plastic, but were cheap and will do the job for now.
My plastic ones are a good 10 years old and were cheap! It was a great investment. I used them to build my coop among many other projects.

FINALLY fixed my fallen down run today! Now I just have to deal with the lake... 20180427_165609.jpg 20180427_165551.jpg

The jail birds even came down to check it out

Do pheasants go broody?
Some will, I have a Kansas Blue-back ring necked that goes bloody every year, she hatches them but doesn't know how to be mom to them. In general, they won't go broody because it's been bred out of them.

Yeah, it's sad but true....by breeding in captivity, artificial incubation and other unnatural rearing practices, we have managed to breed these qualities out of many birds and other animals.
