Here we're supposedly in Zone 4b...but we have this annoying micro-climate so the charts just don't apply accurately.
Okay, guys, I dunno whether to laugh or cry. I wanted to record a little video just before Jenny came to pick up Kendra, but my stupid smart phone said it was full. Huh? There's only 1771 photos and 221 videos on that thing, how can it be full? So after Jenny left I decided to go through them and transfer some, delete others. Things were going fine - then I ran into this little gem. I think it was probably taken in 2016, because she has a set of braces on and her hair was long enough for braids. Anyway, it's a short one - she was standing in the doorway watching the chickens. Something tickled her - just listen to her. The video made me giggle along, but then it hit me how much she enjoyed watching them. Man, do I miss the interaction of the kids with the chickens!
Edited to add: You know, I never caught this before but when she turns to me and says it's cold, do you hear her say "Walk walk, it's cold" or is that wishful thinking on my part? I sure missed hearing it before!
That stinks about the microclimate thing! :/ is it at least still somewhat in the same range as the chart or totally different? Cause I've noticed on a lot of my seed packets or for fruit trees it'll say a pretty big range.
Although knowing now how many zones there are 2-8 like a lot say doesn't seem like a very big range.
And awww adorable video!
She definitely says that! And says cold a lot of other times.
She seems very talkative here too!
I'm not sure how she was before or now cause I haven't been on this thread that long I don't think but do you think the chickens made her more talkative?
I know they say sometimes animals can do that.
My friend's family got a dog around 5 years ago and her sister is way more talkative and mature I feel like. They now have two dogs. She's (the sister) autistic. Part of that I'm sure is just age and that she's been taking college classes and public speaking and stuff (also has epilepsy) but still. Besides, I feel like all that's kinda been within the last 5 or less years anyway so maybe dogs give confidence too.
Sorry, rambling
