Those look like Bradford Pear trees to me. Pretty ornamentals that will grow almost every where. I had one in the yard at my house in KS, very pretty in the spring.

Shows what you remember, Mr. Smarty Pants... I DID write said book a couple of years ago. I called it “The Petunia and the Pansy” or some such and wrote it for my sister when she was so sick. Well, actually it was a compilation of everything from swiping green apples and Mr. Van Der Linde’s reaction to Linda’s tomato facial. Is it my fault that major publishing companies didn’t see it for the gem it was?

I would have bought it also!

Have you considered self publishing? My FIL has done this with a couple of books on Amazon, one was actually pretty good I thought.

Not really, Teila. My writing energies have been focused on the hunks in kilts book I’ve been working on forever. I’m tallying up the potential sales on that one and with you on the list I’m now up to 7.
