Introducing Speedy the buckeye. 5 hours from first pip to hatch.

2 more trying, one of which pipped 24 hours ago. Speedy tipped it over so that the pip was on the underside.

It's slightly lighter pink than this but this is the tree. Taken from my car (don't worry, I stopped) so not the best pics and there is another one a couple houses down that I think might be a different kind or could be the same, idk. I might walk down later and get better pics.

Got a weekend trip to Riverton, LB. We travel some due to Ken’s positions in Masonry, York Rite, Scottish Rite, and about a hunnert ‘n’ eleventy other Masonic organizations. Between his 26 years in the Navy and all of this I swear my wedding vows were, “I do, and I’m packed.”
