OMG I checked my grades and two of the classes aren't in yet but the other two are and I found out that my very nice professor bumped my grade up just enough so that I wouldn't get a B. How nice of him. I was so happy when I saw that haha he didn't give me like an A+ or anything (though they don't do A+ there, it's A- or A) but he gave me enough to be an A- and not a B. I think he changed the HW from like 46% or 48% or whatever to an even 50% because I got perfect scores on all the tests and shouldnt have gotten a B but obviously he couldn't give me the top grade. I think it is only a couple points difference between B and A- anyway. So happy.

Now the only B I have is from First Year Seminar but I'm pretty sure that was another procrastination of failure to turn something in issue ha

Also I have pictures from the honors dinner last night but they're on my phone and I'm on my laptop so I'm going to post them when I go upstairs.

Awww that's awesome! My Australorp broody broke when I moved them to the new coop two weeks ago which stinks because I kind of wanted to buy chicks for her haha but it's also good because I didn't have to break her. It took her a couple days though, at first she kept flying out of the nest boxes into freedom, but now she's happy as a clam. And I did not have to deal with the cage! One of my Orpingtons, Penny (RIP :hit ) was excellent in the broody buster, so calm and quiet and didn't make a peep except to gently talk to me but NOT to complain, but I put one of the Australorps in there once for an injury and first of all, it was a pain to even get her in and she got stuck between the stairs and the window in the garage, and then she was just going crazy, and escaped or tried to every time I changed food and water so I ended up just putting her back in the coop because she wasn't injured bad at all and clearly wanted to go back to her friends. I'm not sure if she even spent one night in there. She either did and I gave up next day or I just said forget it same day. I think I just said forget it and put her back that day cause she kept not only escaping but also spilling everything and flying around and was going to injure herself more haha ANYWAY, I am not sure which one was injured and which one was broody, like if it was the same one or not, but I don't think anyone would be as gentle, sweet, and calm as my Penny was. :hit
 
Kendra has been accepted into the pilot program for speech!! It’s a new on-line program of therapy offered by the Scottish Rite Speech and Language Clinic. Mandy will be her therapist, and that’s great. We’ve met her several times at Scottish Rite events and have a lot of confidence in her. She’s been excited about working with Kendra for a couple of years, but the actual clinic is in Sheridan and that’s about a 3 hour drive over the mountains in winter, 2 hours in summer. We’ve been busting our hineys to get this done, and when Mandy called and said the program was up and running, we were thrilled beyond belief! We’ve sent her videos of Kendra writing what she wants, counting to 100 AND writing the numbers, using her sight word flash cards, and reading. She was most impressed and stunned that Kendra still doesn’t talk to us. We then sent her a video I took last week of us trying to get a simple answer to a simple question. Mandy was shocked - she said it was like watching two totally different kids...even Kendra’s facial expression seems to go blank. Yep. That’s what we’ve been saying for 3 years.

So tomorrow is her initial intake. She’ll be able to see Mandy and Mandy will see her. I don’t know how much we’ll get out of Kendra...the novelty is likely to cause a few bouts of giggling. Then there is teaching her to use the mouse and the program tools since we have no idea how much of what we say she actually understands. Jen has no computer at the moment, and I don’t know when she will, so as usual therapy sessions will be here. If we’re out of town Jen will just bring her in here and they’ll do their thing. Man, I hope this works.
 
That's so exciting about the program Blooie! I hope it works! That does seem quite odd that she is doing so well with all the other stuff and is very intelligent based on everything you've shared yet isn't speaking but I'm sure she'll be able to get to the bottom of it!!
