You are going to be sore for days!

I hope not!

Glad you made it safely and had fun! Hope you didn't burn the glare off your upper arms!

Thanks! And lol admittedly part of the reason I was so dark is cause I haven't worn any sunscreen for any time I've been outside except once. And I've been on the boat, gardening, walking/playing with Libby, and a two day outdoor festival and hiking

The sun burn pain is nothing like decades later when it develops into skin cancer. Just
protect the body parts you don't want to loose later. ears and nose are great ones to start with. They are usually poking out all year round so most likely to be damaged.

when we older folk were young we didn't know the damage that it would cause, and for quite awhile didn't even have sun screen products, and clothing with SPF factor 50.
Of course young'uns always have to find out for themselves.:hit

The weird thing is that normally I am extremely liberal about sunscreen... Like.... wayyyyyy too much. Yet for some reason lately/so far this summer I haven't put any on. Except once bc. My brother said something. I do wear hats and sunglasses though but definitely neef to put sunscreen on. Just this weekend I was at a farmer's market/farm day and then a dog festival the next day also no sunscreen and I noticed especially after one of them last week or whenever that I was extremely dark and it almost looked white/dry in places and I eas like "that doesn't look good..." now it is lighter and fine I am definitely goinf to start putting sunscreen on and maybe aloe on the burns? Oddly it doesn't really hurt though. Usually it turns into a tan eventually. I'm like 1/8th Portuguese so I get really dark in the summer. But I definitely still need sunscreen though because I am not immune and do get burned. It just usually turns into a tan. But that probably only happens when I use sunscreen and/or aloe.

Oh and yesterday I cleaned out the entire chicken coop which took me like two hours and obviously involved a lot of bending and twisting and stuff. And a lot of walking because originally I was using a manure fork. Worked alright till the shavings started falling through. Had to go find a shovel. And I used a little red wagon at first. Barely held anything so after a few trips got sick of that. Had to go get a huge blue trash barrel and drag it back. And for clarification, chicken coop is in backyard, our yard is huge, I had to walk all the way to the front to the garage all the way around the house. Didn't think to cut through the house. And had to walk from the coop to the compost pile too. The compost pile is not far, maybe 50 feet, but a little annoying going back and forth, back and forth and it's not flat. Wish I could just dump directly behind but too close to neighbors. I think most of those two hours were walking and finding the right equipment lol had never cleaned this coop out yet so wasn't sure what would be best. Now I know. I also had a LOT of shavings so took a while. And nest boxes slightly bad design for cleaning. First of all, we put linoleum everywhere else except in there and then we have a lip in front so getting all the shavings out was very hard. I climbed inside the coop and shoveled with a smaller shovel and at one point laid down. Got shavings all over me. Probably wasn't necessary but I'm a bit OCD and try to get every last shaving in the coop. Finally gave up on that lol Did basically get it all though or very close. The boxes I probably didn't need to fully empty because I made it very deep so under the top layer it was clean but I just wanted to get it all out this time. Next time I think I'm going to turn the shavings every so often so it lasts longer which I did do in the main coop but not the boxes for some reason. But I have also decided I am not fully emptying it again for a long time. Either 3 or 4 times a year or even just once a year and keep adding more shavings and stall freshener. Because that was a royal pain.

But my point is that was a lot of work and using muscles I don't use much as well so between that and the swimming today, I am definitely going to be sore. VERY sore.

Thanks, is that a drug? Trying to avoid taking too many OTCs, been messing with my stomach. It's not so bad so far.

Akthough it's funny, at one point I got all the way back to the coop and realized I forgot the shovel so had to walk all the way back. I think that time I did cut through the house haha and I made like 8 trips to the compost pile (one way). Like 4 with the wagon and then 3 or 4 more with the massive barrel. I had a lot of shavings in there. Probably 3 bags. This time I put 4 in including 1 just in the boxes. The boxes are huge. Probably going to be a nightmare to empty but oh well. But that's part of why it took so long.

NSAIDs for short term use--a day or so will not hurt your stomache. Long term use can though

Idk, lately when I take Excedrin or sometimes Advil it instantly hurts my stomach or not really my stomach but something else down there, it like irritates it even when I eat with it. Aleve might be different though. But I take all that stuff (Advil, Tylenol, Excedrin) like all the time. Or used to.

Kelsey - that is Aleve. Generics are cheaper.

Maybe not the worst idea, could be some nasty stuff on the bottom of your shoes.

Thanks. I had to Google as I was wondering lol

And that's true. Didn't think of that. Glad I didn't.
