The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

He could be feeding me a line of bull too. It doesn’t cost any more or less no matter how long it takes.
So he's likely telling you the truth ;)

Wow! Beautiful job and beautiful petite little gal!
All of not quite 5'2" and 105 pounds. DW figured our kids would be somewhere between us in height, she's 5'6" I'm 6'2". DD1 didn't get the message. DD2 barely did, she's the same height as DW.

Your DD is so graceful :clap How long has she been ice skating?
I think since she was 6, she's 25 now. But she was off the ice for about 6 years until 2 years ago. And dropped to only skating Theatre on Ice at 15, she's been doing that since she was 7. She's been slowly working her way back up and has been on Candesartin for her migraines for about a year. It seems to help with the episodic migraines but does nothing for the permanent one. She just started a new drug for that tonight, 2 auto-injectors! Once a month We all really have :fl :fl :fl :fl it will help with the permanent one.

I've only been able to hatch 4 (lost 1 in a chick pileup).
Sure hope you do get that cockerel!

Home from Cheyenne, it was nice to get out and do something different. Because the trailer was loaded down with good-sized trees, we took the back way instead of the interstate...a much prettier drive (it didn't go the whole way but for 50 miles it was nice).

Bruce, wow, the videos were wonderful! Your DD is so graceful :clap How long has she been ice skating?

Michelle, sorry to hear about your boy. I'm joining everyone else hoping that beautiful chick is a boy! :fl

Cap, love the look of the Tobunts, they're pretty.

DMC, glad the spacers aren't a bother. Hopefully the next couple of years (maybe sooner) aren't hard for you.

Time for pj's and some relaxation, see you all tomorrow!
Thanks Debby... price you pay for vanity I guess:DI’m glad you had a good day!

Why does she have all these headaches? I must have missed that conversation at one point. Poor girl. I’ve had mild to moderate headaches my whole life. I can’t imagine a constant migraine.

Started one week when she was a couple of months past 14. Doctors have no cause, refer to it as a "sudden onset headache". She's gone through a couple dozen drugs, none did a thing until the Candesartin. It helps with the episodic "on top" migraines triggered by any number of things - man made fragrances being one of the worst. And artificial sweeteners and big barometric swings, like you can avoid that! I suffer from the first two, and nitrates and MSG. But I've managed to not have many migraines by carefully avoiding those triggers.

Bruce "better small than not at all." Your daughter sounds fine to me. My mom was 4'11", probably standing on her toes. My father was 5'10" the giant in my family. Brother was 5"8", sister 5'6". me 5' at my tallest. My son is about 5'6 or 5'7". We all "settled" getting older.

Short folks leave a smaller footprint on this earth and don't have to dig as much for a foxhole. I used to hate being short but, it's much easier to be invisible. I could stand in one spot for a half hour looking at books or magazines in a store, and rest of family always insisted they couldn't find me. Ah huh? They were lost. I knew where I was.

Thanks Kelsey! I have an iPhone 8 Plus. No skills, but would love to be a photographer.

Sorry DMC, I missed this! Haven't been keeping up as closely as I should. The iPhone cameras are very impressive lately! I'm between that and a Pixel. Don't really like my android anymore. Samsung Galaxy S6. Maybe the new Galaxies are better. They are up to 8 or 9 now. I really just want a great camera and battery life. I go to a lot of concerts and low light shots are always the biggest challenge. I'm not sure any phone camera can handle it.

Was excited to see your Tolbunt Polish, Cap. Didn't you see me raising my hand? I was hoping you'd pick me. One of the first times, I knew what to call them. Their coloring is beautiful. Like tri color dogs.
I would like to get more, but hubby is not happy about my constant building and more chickens than he wants. Maybe i can get some eggs...
My first Sheltie was a tri. No, DD i missed you waving your hand, sorry dear!
