The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Is that bad???

Nah, I don't think it's that bad or yhat most people even notice but I'm also slightly OCD so I'm like DANG it's a slightly different shade

Doing well. Just concerned about your DH.

Truth be known gelatin is better..

X2

Thankfully there's also elementary school kids/tweens and teenagers to remind me what they turn into :lau

It would be easier on the parents to especially if they have to do day care or after school care.
Not sure about that. Must be a mess with one kid coming these weeks, these other kids coming these other weeks, etc. And when do the child care providers get a vacation?

Also, what is an apple cider donut? Doesn't taste apple-y to me? Just cinnamon sugary? Maybe you eat it with cider? Like a fall donut?
Must be you got a bad one. They make really good cider donuts at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Of course it is a bit of a drive for you, it is near Stowe, VT ;)

We'll have to check out Proud Cut on our next trip!
Don't forget to pick up Blooie and Ken on your way!

DH matches his socks to his shirts too
That is easy if you only wear one color shirt ;) But ... I kinda have to disagree with the "what goes in the top comes out the bottom" look. 40 years ago when I was interviewing for my out of college job there was another guy doing the same. Sky blue shirt, black pants, sky blue socks, black shoes. I'll stick with matching socks, shoes and pants for "dress" wear. Otherwise I have about 12 pair of the same white socks for when I'm wearing jeans. Super easy to match up :p

And do you show off that they all match.... everywhere you go? :pop
To his part time job a the strip club obviously!

Maybe I could like borrow one then give it back
Start a day care. You always get to give them back at the end of the day.

I am a pretty tough woman.
No surprise there Cap!

i don't understand why they make the flavored since the normal is unflavored and you don't really taste it in the coffee, at least i don't, i know they say it helps with the joints but again, i don't think its helped with my joints, my hips still give me fits, along with my fingers, nothing seems to help, guess it just comes with old age and what you did when you were young, i used to ride horses and have been thrown many a time, not to mention a rear up and over backwards when i was 55, decided after getting out of the hospital that was my last ride, getting to old to move out of the way, i like walking on my own two feet , that took me three and a half months on a walker before i could walk on my own again and alot of pain, my husbands congo grey learned "oh, that hurts" real fast
wow rearing over often breaks the pelvis... I rode till I was about 55 as well. Continuous mostly owning my own horses.... Rode Western, Bareback, English, and Dressage.... My favorite though is Driving.... LOve it.... I have never broken a bone... But have been dumped more than a hundred times, Bit, Kicked, fallen down with, Trampled... More than once.... last one got me a ride on a heliocopter... ....

I love working with them on the ground but driving brings back the freedom that I felt as a rider.... Plus I can bring a friend along who doesnt know a thing about horses...
