ok, here they are, big? we only planted three slips from a store bought sweet potato that we brought back from florida when we came home, we could never eat this many sp's in a couple of years.View attachment 1568987 View attachment 1568988

again, wow, i don't know how that feels but i do know about hitting the head, hard enough to see stars and start me crying, but thank goodness you're alright, blood and all

Thanks, the guy who sewed me up was a bit rough, my whole forehead has been really tender since the surgery. And he numbed me up but missed some places , so when he sewed those spots, owie! Hubby said he put in 3 layers of sutures. Glad that is over!

husband dug sweet potatoes this morning while i was paying bills, when i called him in to go get medicine, he told me that the sweet potatoes were hugh, needed a bigger box, said alot of them were a foot wide and two foot long, yeah, right, kinda stretching the truth there honey but when we got back, went out to dig the carrots and saw them, couldn't believe it, he didn't stretch it by much, going to take a picture and show y'all, i don't know what to do with all this sweet potatoes unless i cook them and then can it like i would pumpkin for sweet potato pie,as much as we eat potatoes. we would have them two years easily

we've had a couple of frosts and i've alway heard to make carrots sweeter, dig after the first frost, so we dug today in case it turns nasty and wet

its funny, hearing you makes my stomach kinda queasy but when something like that happens to me, husband has a devil of a time getting me to go to the dr. much less the er
i tell "just leave me alone, i'll be fine once i rest"
