Thanks!!
I have never heard of going car to car. Do they all park somewhere? Around here they all still do the going house to house thing I'm pretty sure.
X2. I miss decorating. And seeing the costumes.Yowser! Way too close for comfort. Glad you’re not cleaning it up. Bless your neighbor!
They did have fun, but I sure miss the “old” Halloween traditions. Not much fun going from car to car. There’s just something about welcoming porch lights on, pumpkins and decorations to admire, the sounds of feet crunching the leaves as they walk from house to house, and hearing all the squeals and laughter ringing up and down the blocks. <sigh>
X2 fingers crossed for ya Debby!Trying to wrap up last minute work on getting the Casper house. Phone calls, emails, fees, etc. It's enough to frazzle a person.
We're still supposed to close Nov. 9th so all this preparation stuff should be over soon. Fingers crossed!![]()
In really rural areas they do that. Here my street is a mile long with 5 houses 3 of us have 1/4 mile driveways. Kids would get tuckered out pretty quickly.
Yep. Yesterday in Lovell it was at the LDS church parking lot. The one in Bryon was in the lot behind the Rec Center. Cowley’s was last weekend behind the Log Gym and we missed that one. Sometimes they have all kinds of carnival like activities - bouncy houses, games and contests, free hit chocolate and popcorn stands, even big trailers set up as haunted houses or fun houses. Lovell didn’t have any of that stuff, but Byron did. We just didn’t find out about Byron’s until we were already at Lovell’s, but that’s okay - that would probably have been way too much stimulation for Kendra to handle well anyway.
Folks decorate their cars and at the end the spookiest, the most fun, and the people’s choice awards are given out - usually just gift certificates to Red Apple grocery store.

We still have trick or treators hereYowser! Way too close for comfort. Glad you’re not cleaning it up. Bless your neighbor!

@N F C , is it okay if I’m praying for no hailstorm blown by 70mph winds like Tam got close to her first closing date?![]()
