Kelsey, don't restrict yourself too much as that's just setting yourself up for failure. Just try and do small changes to less processed foods for the benefit of your health (and definitely steer clear of almond/rice/soy 'milk' - all unnatural, highly processed products IMHO). Your goal needs to be good health. I recently found this article which is very interesting:

I had 2 dogs that would totally freak at fireworks. Tried Resue Remedy (Bach flower essence). They slept through all of them!

Jae, stick to your guns!! Debby, there's hope for that countertop with a countertop refinishing kit. I didn't think it would work either, but Tam did it on her blue counters and they looked amazing!

I don't remember what all I planned to comment on....brain dead at this point. Love you guys, gonna be a hit or miss week. I'll either have lots of time by myself while he's in meetings to post, or no time if some of the ladies show up and feel the need to "entertain the Grand Master's Lady."

I've used the countertop refinishing knits 2x now. Absolutely love it. I used one from a Canadian company. The Rustoleum one uses a fertilizer dispenser to sprinkle the texture on. The one I used requires sanding. My neighbour used the Rustoleum and prefers ours. 20181105_103716.jpg

I'll look into that for sure. The firefighters were kept busy with 250 call outs across the country, many to scrub fires because its been really windy here lately. They do advise people not to let them off in windy conditions. :he

Here fireworks are only legal for 10 days around fourth of July. In some counties, not even then. Californian and the West coast are like powder kegs in the summer to fall

That definitely would be a disaster waiting to happen. Fireworks are only on sale for a few days here but people stock up. I like the 10 days restriction - there's someone the next street over that let's off a couple every weekend for almost the whole year! Very annoying.

Some folks are so self centered they don't even consider the effect on others.
