Sean, I’m going to invest of the rest of my retirement into Bubble Wrap stock and then have a designer come up with Bubble Wrap clothing. Well, I would if old tired housewives got retirement...and if I knew a designer...and if I didn’t have to pay for the clothing line with my stock dividends which I bought with my non-existent.....um, do you see where this is going, because I’m totally lost here!

After today, I might be looking into bubble wrapped or foam clothing, myself! :gig

I'm getting to a point I feel like this:

Ok, went to the orthopedic office. The x-ray looked the same except this time you could see the calcification of the fracture :celebrateso it's repairing nicely. Doc wants me to do therapy....so got that arranged.
Left the office and went to TSC needed a few things. As I was ambiling along, without warning my left hand crutch decided to take a leave of absence. It slipped on the freshly waxed floor and down I went with a hugh crash and thud. Major owiee! Didn't break anything but sure scared the heck outta me. The guy helping carry out my stuff, had a look of terror on his face! (priceless). I just looked at him and said, "Don't worry, I'm not going to sue TSC". Another customer standing there when I fell, just started laughing when I told him wasn't gonna sue! and she actually picked up the other crutch that went flying away.
Got a little scape on my elbow that was bleeding but other than that I was ok!
I will be heavy into the pain pills tonight though, it is hurting more than usual.:barnie
sean, can't like this when it could have been so much worse, you still don't know if the bone took another hit or do you? :fl sure hope everything is ok :hugs

Yep, I would definitely know if it was injured again, I actually partially caught myself this time as my hands were empty, the crutches went flying, and I landed on my left side...as I was falling, told myself, save your right leg at all cost. :lau so my elbow took the brunt but I definitely felt the impact in my right leg too! When I think about it it probably looked comical, because I was turning to land on my left side....I was headed for a landing on the right leg/hip, again! Was trying to hold my right leg up to keep it from impacting with the floor.

Sean are you certain that a walker wouldn't be safer for you ?
Nope, I don't think anything is safe for me! :lau but seriously, a walker would be even worse as my forward momentum would launch me over the front end of the walker....previous experience!
