They sound painful Ron. I think people generally get them on their wrist . Once read that a doctor could smash it with a heavy book - no surgery. Don't know if that is true. I think waiting for the book to hit would be worse than surgery.
I had a lipoma on my leg from just about lower calf upwards, almost to my knee. I don't know how I missed it when it was developing but, there it was. I went to an orthopedic surgeon and he removed most of it- said he couldn't take it all - I would loose too many blood vessels. That was 3 days before Thanksgiving 36 years ago.
Had to wear one of my father's house slippers, couldn't get into shoe with all the bandaging. I asked if I could go Xmas shopping. He just said "Don't RUN around!! I took that to mean I should walk slowly. Wrong. A few stitches popped and had to go back and have them redone.
Used to get some small lipomas(fatty tumors) on one eyelid. I think that is a sign of too much cholesterol. Don't remember if I had them removed or they just went away.
