Brussel sprouts: Steamed and eaten with olive oil and garlic powder. Of course in my family of 4, I am the only one who will touch them. My sister in law would eat a pound of them if given the chance.

"Baby peeled" carrots aren't baby carrots, they are full size carrots mechanically cut up and shaped.

And bleached or something right!?

One of the most gorgeous Aussies I've ever seen lol

Don't know but I'm sure they do some sort of disinfecting.
Maybe you should try a regular carrot that hasn't been "modified".

I thought I read a while ago about how they did something gross to them but I can't remember what it was or if it was even true.

And I definitely will! Wanted to try growing them this year but I didn't. Maybe next year. This year I just grew way too many tomatoes, a few pepper plants, an eggplant, and a strawberry that I got nothing off of and didn't really get anything off of the peppers either. And we really didn't eat most of the tomatoes. Next year I am only going to grow maybe 5 tomatoes at most, probably less, work on improving the pepper crop because I love peppers, more eggplant, and I really want to grow more lettuce (forgot we also grew that) as well as try new stuff. We will have a lot more space in the garden next year since we moved the chickens so I want to try cucumbers or squash and maybe beans, carrots, kale, etc. Maybe some radishes or onions. Idk, lots of different stuff instead of an overwhelming amount of tomatoes lol also grew the pumpkins where the new garden will be but I think it will be okay with tilling and maybe adding some new compost?

I've not had the "baby" carrots often but IIRC they were kinda slimy. Unadulterated carrots are much better.

My tomatoes and peppers did well this year which is surprising since I nearly killed them with too much fertilizer when I planted them. The orange peppers did especially well AND some were ready weeks before any of the red and yellow. 2 orange plants, 1 each red and yellow. Probably will go with 4 oranges next year since they are DD2's favorite. Only had 1 Early Girl and 1 Sungold cherry tomato. That was plenty for the 2 of us that eat them.

My onions also did really well. When DD1 says she needs a medium onion I ask "how much of this onion would be the equivalent of a medium?"

Yeah, my peppers last year did really well but this year was kinda ehhh. My own fault though cause I didn't really care enough to try to save them. I had 2 in a relatively small, shallow pot on the deck. Didn't really produce very well except one or two peppers and very small plant. Then two new kinds, lady bell peppers, in the garden, that did well until one got overtaken by a tomato and they also got leaves eaten. Last year my ones in the garden all got eaten by slugs while the deck ones, each in their own individual large pots, got to be like a foot tall lol so next year, I plan on putting them in large pots on the deck again.

We had like 15 tomato plants lol and that's after we gave 4 away and killed a bunch of seedlings (on purpose). Wayyyy too many. Cherries, better boy, brandywine, genuwine, black krim, a couple large red ones i can't remember, etc. Had about a trillion cherries cause we had several plants.

Oh wow that's awesome!!

And yes the baby carrots are kinda slimy, especially after you open them

No price, never a good thing ;)
I'm SURE Fiona would love to have a playmate and @Blooie surely have PLENTY of room for another moose ..... er .... puppy.

That's true! Didn't notice the no price thing. Though it does come with a free 30 pound bag of food. Though that wouldn't last very long for a moose :lau

And yup! Fiona definitely needs a playmate and Blooie DEFINITELY has room for two mooses. :p :lau
