It’s called The Great Alone and I think it’s more about like Lance Mackey’s story/life but so far I like it. I was going to watch Eight Below because I was on a husky breeder’s website (not gonna get one, just been looking at a lot of breeders’ sites lately for various breeds. I like doing that. Plus I got curious last night what breeders, if any, were near Erie) and anyway, they said two of their dogs were in Eight Below. Well, I loved that movie, thought gee, maybe I’ll watch it again. Well it’s not on Netflix but this one was. As is Balto and some other good movies. So I think after this one I might watch Eight Below.

Okay I really liked the movie. And no it is not that long lol don’t worry. Only like an hour and 20 minutes or something. I just kept pausing it, rewinding it, leaving the room to talk to someone or go to bathroom, get water, etc. I have got to stop pausing and rewinding TV shows and movies so much. Takes way longer to get through it

It is definitely annoying. I didn’t used to do it or not as much. Could be partly OCD I guess. But also just sometimes I didn’t quite hear something, often just one word, or wanted to see what was on the screen cause I missed it or read something on it, or I looked at my phone a second and missed something but really I didn’t miss anything because no one was talking and it was kind of an intermittent background or whatever but doesn’t matter, might have missed something.

well, in the morning, husband is going to drain everything to winterize , we're going to load up everybody (pets), a couple of flowers i want to take and we'll be off, have everything else already loaded, since we're not driving straight thru, will probably take a day and a half at least, SOOOOOO looking forward to warmer weather, will check on here in the morning for one last read before i go cold turkey for the trip and waiting for them to connect everything down there

Sharron, I hope you and your DH have a safe and pleasant trip to FL tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you as I watch more snow fall here

My son loves to pause something so he can eat or have a pit stop and he'll do it often just to irk me. That's okay when he asks me to make some popcorn I don't seem to hear him.
I mean how hard is it to pop a bag in the microwave and wait 2 minutes or so?

I record programmes so that I can pause them because there's no watching anything in peace in this house (unless you get up really early which I often do too). Sometimes I'll get to the end of a movie and I've watched it in such a disjointed fashion that I'm not entirely sure what happened! I love being able to turn on subtitles too - then I can 'listen' without actually having to hear the actors.
