There never was any insulation, anywhere in the house.

That dumb popcorn ceiling had to go, it was so ugly. Fortunately, the other rooms just have plain ceilings.

The kitchen cabinets hadn't been touched since at least the '70's so they were in poor shape. The wiring has to be re-done as it it mostly the old, old stuff (and not enough outlets for code). The kitchen is the biggest job of all the rooms, it will be "new" when we're all done.
 
husband just came in, my dog all wet, ask him why, seems he went down to the dock and the dogs followed and mine fell in the same hole that wilbur did last year, bulldogs aren't suppose to be able to swim, well according to husband, she can, at least long enough for him to get down on his stomach and reach down and pull her up, wilbur swam under the dock to the boat landing and waded out onto the land. with bella's eyes the way they are, she would have never been able to see where to go. gonna have to take out insurance on her :gigsurprised he could pull her out with her being a dainty 57 lbs :lau

Glad it ended well....which one you going to have to put on a leash, hubby or Bella?

Was that an ice hole? There was an article today of two people dying rescuing dogs...That got out on their own after the owners drowned.

I don't think they have any freezing conditions in Florida right now....but couldn't pass this one up! :lau
