The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Morning everyone!

Wasn't sure what to expect when I woke up as it was snowing again last night. Of course, the wind was blowing so things don't look worse than yesterday. The drifts just might be a bit higher.

I think DH is going to come home from Casper today. That means I have to get busy and fix a "real" meal. Cheese & crackers doesn't seem very welcoming

Oh and I don't think I can post the videos cause whenever I try to upload them to YouTube, it reduces the quality a ton and idk why, but Libby is finally doing transitions between certain commands (specific ones ill mention below). :D not very fast and I still occasionally have to help her but she used to not understand what I wanted and so I would have to back up or otherwise adjust my position to help her out. This is made even more impressive by the fact that I haven't worked with her in a long time. I have a few times but we haven't done very many full runthroughs of all her tricks or training alone since Franklin came home. Like I said, we have a few times but even then we just basically did all the tricks rather than focusing on improving one. And last time we did do it, she still wasn't transitioning on her own. So imo it's pretty impressive she can go weeks or months without practicing and then not only remember how to do it but IMPROVE! Lol

Anyway, what I mean by transitioning is I've taught her front and finish commands. I am sure there is a different, more official name for them. But basically, front means come and sit in front of me and finish means sit at my side. For her, that means right side cause that's just how I taught it I guess, idk why, but I am left handed. But anyway, so before she would not go from front to finish or finish to front unless I moved to help her or sometimes she just wouldn't at all and I'd have to move further away and call her and kind of reset her. But now she is transitioning. :D she seems to do better with finish to front but she will do both.
