The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

They're for my mom, part of her holiday gift basket. Mom's have to like everything their kids do, right? :fl

DMC, if you lived closer I'd do the baking and let you (get that...let you) do the decorating. You're the best!
Yes they do! Thanks Debby...I would show you how to decorate:lol: Two years ago my sister helped me decorate...never having done it. Hers looked better then mine, she’s the painter.

I'm supposed to make my son's favorite cookies before he gets here but, not too soon or I'll eat them all. Problem is every pot, mixing bowl, cookie sheets, utensil is still sitting in the sink for who knows how long. I haven't run out of paper plates or plastic utensils - so it's all good for me. But not good enough to bake things in/on.

Also going to make Pumpkin loaves but, there goes the cleaning of loaf pans, and measuring stuff - think I'll nap instead.

I'm a lot less bothered by it than my post may have made me seem. Already have moved on, just saw it on FB, and posted that post and since forgotten. But I'm moreso just curious. They look absolutely nothing alike, not even remotely, so I don't see how they can be related, which is fascinating. Idk I just like dogs and dog breeds and genetics, it's interesting to me. I'm not bothered or too puzzled or overly concerned by it, it's just intriguing.

And the early spaying one, well, I just can't stand how rescues spay and neuter little tiny puppies now, especially large/giant breeds, and mess up their development/health just for the sake of "reducing overpopulation" or whatever they tell themselves. But of course I have no control over it and they will likely not change their minds so I've accepted it but it's just ridiculous.
These are from the same litter, 2 long hair and 2 short hair. 2 are twice as big as the others. I would never have guessed they were from the same litter. Bottom picture is the mother.

At least they do have some similarities, the tabby striping on all of them, in varying amounts, but wow, never would have guessed that was their mother!! They look nothing like her
