I wouldn't waste the money. The vet will just look at her, do some palpation, some stethoscope stuff and charge you a bunch of money. Annual is plenty for a healthy 7 year old cat. Not even half way through its normal lifespan.
Rascal is SO fun the catch! The south building of the house contains the living room/dining room and a bedroom off the side. Stairs to go up to the second floor and a door to the kitchen. Had the cat trapped in the living/dining room, doors to bedroom and kitchen closed. DD2 sitting at the bottom of the stairs, me at the door to the kitchen (it is a 15 light door and one pane is missing) and DD1 trying to catch the cat. DD2 caught her, barely, as the cat tried to jump over her on the stairs. If she had gotten over/around DD2, no idea how long it would be before we found her.
