The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

You are in my prayers. Stay safe, and never underestimate the" bathtub under a mattress technique "
Yep, South Texas isn't known for storm shelters :lau not really known for tornados either! except when we have hurricanes.

Talk about "it's a small world"...my sister lived in AL for 14 years (Sylacauga) and my brother used to live in Riverton. My DH and I moved from FL to Wyoming in 2016, we're down in the south/central part. Or as some folks call it...the ugly part. :lau

You're way too modest Bob...you're a very talented baker and all round smart guy. That index would still be moldering away if you hadn't tackled it and wrestled it to the ground![/QUOTE

agree whole heartedly

but sean, if you don't shovel it til it stops you only have to shovel one, or you can do like our son say, "mother nature put it there, let mother nature melt it"

Don't you know not to shovel snow...if you shovel, your guarrentied to have more snow! :lau but then again, your gonna have more snow anyway! :(

Talk about stupid...a reporter is driving into the storm to report on it, the storm is about 90 miles from San Antonio but has golfball size hail right now, and 50 mph winds.
thunderstorm-604416.gif A silly Storm Chaser!

I have not watched the documentary yet but I would like to. It looks fascinating. I just bought myself a Mr Rogers DVD last night, got like 30 classic episodes. Figured it would be good to have in case I ever have kids or nieces or nephews, much better than most of the programs these days. Plus I used to like that show a lot.
I heard an NPR piece on the documentary. Yep a whole lot more to "Mr. Rogers" than the guy in the sweater on TV.
