Happy New Year @JaeG
we only have one now, a female congo grey thats around 33 34 years old(would have to look on her dna papers) she comes with us to defuniak every year, did have a yellow nape that came too til i lost her, she aspirated two years ago, she was around 36I love 'tiels! When I lived in Ohio many years ago worked in an all avian vet clinic and had a whole basement full of rescue birds. Had to find homes for all when I moved down south. Anything from finches to my big Mealy Amazon. Miss the birds, but not the mess!
i think you would be better off staying in your home state, others might not agree with you and problems, you know how you feel thereThat’s good!! Guess I just assumed most places down there had lots of snakes and bugs but that’s good if some have less
Yeah, I don’t think I would like that very much aha winters might not be so bad, I might freeze my buns off any further north than MA, but I think I would probably roast or melt in the summer down south aha absolutely hateeee heat and humidity and also heat makes my problems worse, like I tend to get dehydrated and migraines really easily in summer, even here, and weak or whatever, and also have asthma. But that said, I don’t like having the heat on or fires because the dry air dries my eyes out. Don’t really usually get a headache from it but feels weird. Maybe there is a way to make fire and heat bother me less.

Isn't Sun Valley ski resort in Idaho? Is Idaho hot? For some reason my brother seems to think it is hotter than here in summer. He says it is both hotter and colder than here, really hot in the summer and really cold and snowy in the winter, even moreso than here or New Hampshire, but I had not heard of Idaho being hot???

KD, the only really viable way to choose a location is to live there for a time. I pretty much left home when I was 18, lived all over the world and didn't find my final place until 40 years after leaving home. Had entire states with Red X's through them and we were certain of where we did not want to be. But that didn't get us any closer to where we wanted to be.
