The western slope of Idaho has decent weather, not too cold not too hot.

And from what you guys have said about Wyoming’s wind, if Idaho is anything like it, I do not think I want that much wind! Maybe there are parts with less wind? We have some plains. But mostly we have mountains almost any place in the state. They act like funnels, channeling winds into concentrated bands.

So wind chills today? This was on CBS News today.......

Ahh okay, that makes sense. For some reason I was thinking the Great Plains were in that area but upon Googling it it looks like it starts a little bit further east, though part of Wyoming is in it, like you said. Idaho is further west than I had thought. And by saying the mountains act like funnels you answered my next question about whether living near the mountains would break up some wind. Guess not.

And wow!! :eek: I would freeze my buns off there lol

My grandparents had a statue 'bust' of some sort of indigenous persuasion. My grandfather called it/him 'Mortimer', use to scare me to death! :lau
