A characteristic of Weimers is the crossing of the front paws when laying down.

Dane puppies what they call Blue Danes

Beagles come in any of the hound colors: BWT, Lemon and white, Red/white, blue tick, red tick, Blue/mouse blanket and all variations of that. I know I'm missing some.

Wow! I had no idea they could come in so many different colors!!

Yep, I'd say they are Weimeraners...very good ones at that, they have blue eyes, there from a bloodline out of Germany. Weimer's over here usually have yellow eyes.
Ours had blue eyes but ours came from Germany.

Wow that seems really weird they would call them Danes then! Maybe they don’t know what they have? Which is unfortunate if they’re good ones like that.

Right now everyone is Black/White/Tan with all but one being black blanketed. Rosie is open marked. Oops Treaty is slightly broken blanketed.

What does open marked mean?

Nope, not crossbreds although that does happen. Blue ticking is common in many beagle families.

Wow so cool! I guess I have only ever seen the traditional looking beagle.

:bowi bow to your knowledge since you've raised them, daddy had both as deer dogs but never saw a blue tick beagle before

X2.

They sure look like Weims then! Seems their ears are all wrong and they seem a bit small for Danes of that age.

Noticable difference in the ear set and stop, facially. My Dane looked like a pitbull at 8 weeks and a full on Dane by 12 wks.

Yeah, I think the ears and face give it away, all wrong for a Dane. And the thinner legs. The Dane ears seem to be somewhat pointed at the end too, not round like that. Wonder if someone should message them and tell them they actually have Weims :lau

Basset hounds come in all of the same colors as do coon and foxhounds although I am not certain about Blue/mouse colored. Open marked means white or ticked areas interspersed with the body color.

Wow so interesting! I figured they only came in the colors most common. Like for example, blue ticks were blue ticked, Black and Tans were Black and Tan. So can blue ticks and Black and Tans be born in the same litter? Sort of like Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds? And ohhh okay. Sounds interesting. So like patches?

Whoops, autocorrect, Malinois not Malinowski lol
