Bizarre time of year for indoor painting up in the NE.


Or generating some electricity from it?

Well, we took down the railing or molding or whatever it is called, maybe chair railing? That was about halfway up the wall in the hall and then there’s thicker molding at the floor and ceiling, anyway, they took that down when replaced the heater covers (which were very old and very gross), and I guess my mom decided she wanted the railing down too so he took one piece down, she liked it, took the rest down next day. Well, except for two little pieces that connect to the stair molding. But anyway, she says it looks much better and the house looks less old also they were so hard to clean. But anyway, so last night my dad sanded all the spots where it was and then sprayed some spray paint because he plans to putty some spots or cracks or something and claims he needed an oil based paint first so it would stick? Or maybe he said water based, whatever spray paint is. And when asked why tonight (now last night) when he is clearly not even going to do it that night, he claims “it needs to dry.” Yeah well, we are all in the house and he didn’t even open any windows or anything until we came down and opened windows and fans. He just started spraying in a closed hallway.... he is not always the brightest bulb or rather, I should say, he is fairly smart, supposedly, but doesn’t seem to care about project safety. Which is ironic given his job.

Feeling a bit under the weather today, possibly a cold? Idk, my throat is a bit scratchy and I am a bit stuffed up. BUT. I have a potential new client. They are DB+FSIL’s neighbor but have lived there since my grandma did. I am meeting with them tomorrow.
