Can you explain what a council certificate is?

They said if we paid an extra $40 they would give us a delivery time.

Don't know about HD but here Lowe's contracts some other business to deliver appliances, even if they are coming from the store's storage area. Lowe's gives you a date, the delivery company calls the night before to give you a 4 hour window. Yeah REAL convenient for planning purposes.

Last I had to suffer them the window was 1 PM to 5 PM. They showed up at 6:15 PM. It was just a dishwasher. Could have fit it in my car but had no one to help get it out and carry it into the house. Figured delivery was free so what the heck. Oh, and after 5 rounds of trying to get Lowes to understand that is WAS being delivered rather than picked up which I NEVER said I was going to do AND had the date changed from Thursday because a furnace guy was coming on Friday, they still called Wed night and delivered it Thursday.

Hope you feel better soon @KDOGG331. Harsh chemicals (even the ones in liquid soap) can make your hands and knuckles crack and bleed in winter. That used to happen to me until I switched to a very mild bar soap.

Our real estate agent rang last Thursday to see if we'd got the council certificate we need. DH went out to the council to pick it up and just about died when they said how much we had to pay - nearly a GRAND! Paying out for that has made things extremely tight, but banks won't lend without one so if we want to sell we need it. He texted the agent to let him know and we are still waiting for a response.

DH knows a different agent through his work (he's a customer that DH has helped out before). He'd said to let him know if we needed some help so DH contacted him and he organised for an agent out this way (she lives in the next street over) to meet with us. She's absolutely lovely, thinks our place is worth what we want for it, unlike our current agent who seemed disappointed we didn't accept a much lower offer. She's coming round tomorrow night to give us her proposal. Hopefully she's going to get things moving in the right direction for us.

Thanks Jae!! May have to switch soaps then! I figured it was just because I wash my hands way too much. Maybe a bit of both.

And the new agent sounds promising! The other one was probably disappointed because they want the commission check faster

Oh and I am all congested this morning, nose and chest/slightly tight and woke up somewhat earlier than I wanted to (10 and I think I was awake and laying there longer), still tired but just going to stay awake, don’t want to accidentally sleep till 1 or something, and I should not be tired, slept plenty, but anyway, point being, I think once I fill the bathroom with steam and sit there, I should feel better and less congested cause other than that I do feel mostly good, and I also figured out this morning that apparently it is now that time of the month. so good news is, I probably don’t have some serious migraine issue, bad news is, I am now rundown/overworked from this weekend, possibly now sick from that, AND that time all at once but it’s better than having the flu AND strep at the same time which I saw one of my FB friends currently has. Talk about misery. So I think with some water, fruit, steam, and more elderberry syrup I’ll be feeling fine. Oh and the migraine thing, I always think I get them all the time and that it’s a problem but then turns out I always get them right before that time so it’s really not. Although that said I do get them randomly for other stuff too but still anyway, thanks for the reply and the info, and good luck with the house and the new agent and everything!!
