I know you hate that Sour. We had it all day yesterday but this morning is calm so far. Now we're expecting snow starting this afternoon and continuing on into the night.

Does the water seep out through the bottom or the sides?


Um, if it isn't holding water, how will they drown?

Seeps out through the bottom. If they fix it, it will hold water... I have soooo much to learn.

You need bentonite lining that pond. Nothing gets through that stuff! It’s soft as talc when dry......if you get stick in it you ain’t going nowhere. Wet it’s slickery as all getout -if you get stuck in it you ain’t going nowhere. It’s used to line wells, ponds, ditches, landfills (required in landfills...ask me how I know THAT), as a binder in some cosmetics, chocolate, and even ice cream.

Ooo cool! Did it look really red?

It looked very red with weird dark edges. I kept going out and watching it until it was almost back to normal. The thing that was the oddest was that it was so incredibly dark outside when I took that pic. Kinda spooky!
