It hit the top of the post and bounced back. I didn't find him unconscious, and he refused to go to the er and get checked.And likely didn't knock any sense into him either
I can't imagine getting hit in the head with one of those. And hopefully no other body parts either. Glad he didn't get hurt TOO badly.

once husband was cutting down a tree close to the house that was dead, as he was cutting, it broke the top part off, it came down, hit him on the forehead and blood started shooting out, had to take him to the er, got 5 stitches, scared the daylights out of me
