Lost cable for half an hour. I really expected it to be out for far longer, but once again we have internet/phone/TV. Shingles are blowing off my loft, and tree limbs are still falling, but the house is unscathed so far.

Good morning everyone. The wind, the wind 40 to 50 MPH gusts throughout the night and still ongoing. No power outage here, but branches were blowing off and hitting the house all night. The lawn is a mess of branches, but no trees have come down. Even the dog doesn't like the wind. Last night she was acting like she does during a thunderstorm.

we have sunshine this morning but still a little nippy but will warm up
had to buy another computer yesterday, the other one i've taken twice to have repaired and it went again, guy isn't doing a good job, don't know if its under warranty or not but going to ask, bought the new one from walmarts and i don't really like it,
much slower but hey, any port in a storm right?
BUT the main thing here today is the men are here digging up that drain pipe and have it half way dug and some pipe laid in and started re-covered
