I just helped 2 get out of their shells, i forgot to write it down when i put them in so i wasn't sure when lockdown was supposed to be. Those ones always look icky. But i can grab a pic of the first one that hatched.

Does anyone want a "stand in" job today? I need someone to go to the dentist for me for a routine check up (I hate going).

I used to hate it but it’s a breeze now...it helps I like the lady who does it. She doesn’t yammer my ear off

I don't dislike the dentist personally or his hygienist, but why do they insist on asking you questions when there are 8 fingers + implements jammed in your mouth? DH goes to the same place and somehow he manages to tell them a lot. But then, he is more of a talker/visiter than I am. Or maybe he doesn't mind talking with his mouth full?

At least I got a reward for being a good patient today. I was looking at a new cooking magazine waiting for my appointment and one of the gals said no one but me looks at them, so I got to take it home. Not quite as good as picking a prize from the treasure chest like when I was a kid, but not bad!

Yeah, like someone who has been 6' under for a LONG time!

It seems there’s a lot of not normal temps everywhere. When we put new carpet in the first week of March in the year 2000 it was in the 70’s.

Weird weather happens. We got married Dec 1, 1990 in Stowe, VT. It was 50°F and we had to send my sister and 2 year old nephew (they live in sunny So. Cal near the beach) up to Smugglers Notch (the physical place, not the ski area on the other side of the mountain) to see snow. It hides in the shadows on the north facing areas. I guess they could have gone to the Stowe ski area as well since they make snow on the runs. Probably safer not to be near people skiing on minimal snow though.
