B, are you supposed to get that snowstorm like we are? The forecast is now calling for 5-8" starting tonight.

Nope. We may get a skiff, and the winds of course, but it’s staying south of us. Love living up in the Banana Belt of the Basin! I haven’t even seen Darth once this winter....yet.

Yeah, those can go live someplace else as far as I’m concerned. But man, do I detest springtime mud. The place where we park our cars turns into a swamp. Ken’s ordering Weathertechs for the van. We bought them for Shrek the first week we had him and they have saved our hineys! The van has floor mats over the carpet, but they’re carpet too. Stupid, but we’re stuck with them for now. The dog barrier had to come first, and that’s scheduled to be delivered today sometime. We’ve found that although Toyota makes weatherproof floor mats, they don’t protect nearly as well. We had theirs in the Rav, and they didn’t go up the sides as high and weren’t as deep.

I tried walking without a crutch or cane, 2 days ago....it's been giving me pain and problems every since.

take it slow and easy sean, you don't want to set it back any altho i know you don't like being laid up, we all make terrible patients, when we hurt we all want to be in our own beds not in a hospital(to live or die in peace)

Awww, cute chickens @Cynthia12 - those Naked Necks are cuties. I've admired them on this site but it's not a breed we have in NZ. The chicks are so gorgeous. What kind of chickens have you got now?

Our oldest baby is growing a lovely yellow crest. The little one looks like a mad scientist with his downy fluff out the sides of his head.

Another beautiful sunny day in Alberta. High of 6!
I set my first (test) batch in my new incubator yesterday. Spot check matches the temp dead on. Here's hoping i finally get a decent hatch.
