The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I told DH I already plan on having a bad headache day tomorrow.

Speaking of doctor-type things, how is your leg doing? Are you still going to PT?
No, I haven't been to PT since December, insurance wouldn't pay for anymore, so I've just been doing my own PT, the only thing I can't do that they were helping me with is lower leg lifts with ankle weights...I don't have any ankle weights.
I can almost walk again, with a pretty noticable limp but hoping in about two weeks I will be off the cain or crutch. I just 'tested' it out awhile ago, I can walk without a prop but I don't want to screw something up and have to prolong the healing process.
It's still not quite right with my knee, the hip isn't giving me any problems.

@007Sean and @rjohns39 you both do a lot of welcoming to the new members...

My BYC time is going to be severely curtailed once work is in full gear. How long to you "follow" a new member welcome thread? It's going to be really hard to address everything that shows up on my 'watched threads' list anyway, let alone when welcomes are posted a couple weeks after the new member first posted. Hope that makes sense...for instance this morning, my 'watched threads' list was about 75 threads long. I'm afraid I'm going to miss things I really want to keep tabs on with all the old stuff popping up in there.

Sounds like you've made progress! Taking it slow and easy seems a smart way to go about things.

Seems like I have over a 100 alerts everytime I log on...even if I step away for 5 minutes theres 30 to 50 alerts. I don't follow any threads per say...I just check on certain threads pretty often....I get alerts on any thread I have visited, whether or not I have posted to that thread in awhile.
Drives me crazy sometimes trying to keep up with it all. :barnie

Keeping up with it is what is bothering me. Some threads I want to check in on daily and I don't want them lost in the landslide of old new member threads.

Yeah, that's what's happening to me right now if I don't stay on top of it....if I wasn't 'laid up' there would be no way for me to keep up with it.

Exactly! I want to spend whatever free time I'll have for BYC on current stuff.
