Now for a cuteness update. Dawn is definitely the go getter of the pair. S/he has been getting out of the nest (though s/he doesn't go far from Dusk) and while we had them in the bowl for photos s/he kept peering over the edge at what the other birds were doing. Dusk is much more happy having a cuddle with someone. They are both very cuddly and I could waste so much time cuddling them (curses to packing and cleaning). I keep calling them girls but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Lol! I read this last night before I went to bed and dreamed that I had cockatiels again! They are getting so big! Their personalities are starting to be evident too! I'm glad you enjoy them so much and keep us updated with pictures!

I am pretty miserable, went to the NP to get my right knee looked at. I can barely bend it. Still have sinus issues, my pinched nerve in my neck is causing weakness and pain in my arms. I can barely get a jacket on and off. And my stomach still hurts. I feel disabled! I think i am going to need to sell most of the quail and rabbits. Getting old sucks!

Hard to hit like on that! Dang girl, you better take it easy for the next couple days, just soak in the tub and get the minimum chores handled so your body can heal! You are in my prayers!
 
Good morning all! I'm barely keeping up here! With the new puppy and ducklings we also added a Blue Front Amazon parrot to the family. She is still settling in, and has been sort of neglected, so is nervous and unsure of her surroundings right now. She was shut away in a back room with no company and is getting used to the comings and goings here. I will post some pics in a couple days.

Get ready for never ending noise when she/he decides to 'come out of it's shell', no pun intended....mine was like that when I 1st got it, it had been locked up in a room by it's self too! After a month, I couldn't get it to shut up...even covering its cage, it would talk 'under its breath' :lau
