The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Doing ok today, thanks for asking. How's your treatments coming along?
thats a good thing, may it continue
sean, your guess is as good as mine, i'm doing what he said to do , pill once a day and cream once a day but you know how bruises or blood blisters are, takes awhile to go away so it will be at least 3 weeks before i go back to see him and see what he says. what ever it is, never hurt or itched , just one day it appeared and decided to stay and spread:confused:, if it doesn't go away or even look like its getting better, may just live with it:lol:

Okay, that is true and you do have a point there. And sorry for freaking out last time, i think it was just the way it was worded or something threw me off, hard to tell online. But that is true that not every photo will be good and I actually do delete tons as I’m taking them but I could definitely narrow it down when posting too. I just didn’t really think of it. I will definitely do that next time though. But it’s hard with the new phone because it takes way better photos than my old one so to me a lot of them are good and it makes it harder to narrow down whereas before I had a lot of bad or blurry ones, etc. but I guess that just means I need to work more at it. Sorry, I will try to remember that for next time. And I suppose if there are million to sort through some people might lose interest or skip them. I think I remember hearing that somewhere. But forgot. But I’ll try to remember that because it’s probably true. Frank is just so photogenic it’s hard to get a bad photo of him :lau
For example, here are three pictures of my garden.

I would not even usually photograph the last subject, but just an example. You want to be up close to your subject.

I couldn't do that, I would have to find out what the cause is....but that's just me!

well, what can i say, i've tried to find a picture of what this stuff looks like on the net, found a lot of gross pictures but nothing that's like what i have so if this isn't what the dr thinks its is i don't know what to do but live with it:confused: like i said, doesn't hurt or itch and unless i see it, forget i even have it. now if it hurt or itched that would be a different story. i'm a sissy when it comes to pain:lol: but i will do what the dr says and maybe he know what hes doing :fl:fl:fl
ok, said and done

be very careful, i've heard they can be nasty

Oh no worries, there's no way I'd get up close to a badger! Nasty claws, sharp teeth and ugly dispositions. I just worry about one figuring out a way into the run. When we've seen them up here in the past, they're pretty busy digging prairie dogs out of their holes in the ground. They can fill up on all those they want, just leave my birds alone!

For example, here are three pictures of my garden.

Thanks, i figured i had better get pictures, because the deer have already been dining on the tulips at the tip of my island garden!

I wasn't that impressed with them and sold them for a ton of money, soon after that the market went south on Emus.
What great timing!

Friday and Saturday are supposed to be beautiful here, can’t wait!! We have rain coming tomorrow.
Better than more snow.

when I asked about shooting it, he told me I have to get a fur-bearing license to shoot badgers. He added that nasty thing probably has a den close by. RATS! :rant
Too bad you asked, now you can't claim you didn't know. Hopefully if there are more he'll be happy to come back and take care of them for you.

Thanks for the examples. I usually do try to take closeups but sometimes I like to experiment lol and sometimes I just snap a bunch and hope one comes out good cause they’re so fast (like the action shots). I have seen some good pics from further away on Instagram and stuff but they’re usually not too far away and/or they usually have some cool scenery in the back like mountains or something which most of mine don’t so I should probably work on but idk that it’s so much the closeness as well set up and not just random snapping

Digital is cheap, costs nothing to take a hundred pictures. Not like with film that has to be developed. You random snap and keep only the very good ones, like Cap said.

That is very true!! Thanks! That’s. Good idea. I’ll have to do that.
