Holy crap!
Here's another Holy Crap! for ya Debby. Those are peacock eggs. 1 already swallowed. Notice: it was shedding.

sorry I been awol.... getting my ducks in a row and such...

Thats a pretty snake Sean.... nice and healthy... I used to have aviarys... a youngster Garter snake got in through the half inch mesh of their aviary wire filled up on Finch eggs and chicks and couldnt get back out.... LOL.

Had to remove him from the wire and set him free.

I miss my finches and Canarys... Parakeets too little trouble makers.

but I am using the wire for Bigger things...

With regard to ticks .... We have em big time... Went for a ride in the chaparal one time and picked 30-40 off my horse and about ten off me.... Found a couple more on my horse the next couple of days. Males Bite drink and crawl to another spot so you follow the trail of scabs and oozy places. The females latch on... Got really good at pinching them out....

Woke up to a regular ol snow storm outside and it's still coming down.

Deb, glad to see you! Your story reminded me of when we found a snake inside one of our rabbit hutches. It got in through 1/4" wire mesh, swallowed a kit and couldn't get back out.
