Are you hatching this year?

I am! 2 broodies have 9 babies each (9 silkies & 9 Wyandottes), I’ve hatched 3 silkie chicks and 2 Khaki Campbell ducklings, 1 broody has 4 eggs (mixed), and another has 5 (Khaki Campbell duck eggs)... plus a broody guinea with at least a dozen eggs.

You have to be careful of drowning though because of the lack of oils at first right? I thought most people waited a few weeks?? But idk if that’s required.

But I do know you’re supposed to dry them off with a towel or blow dry or something right? Like completely?
