Looking out the windows at the rain. Hoping my eggs hatch...had a spike on the bator last night, got to 104°F for about 2 hours. :barnie got it back down to where it should be but don't know if they survived the spike. Their suppose to be hatching tonight and tomorrow. Checking the temp every hour now. :hmm

:frow you need to get pheasants, Cap...they don't make any noise as chicks...after they get mature is another story. :lol:
 
Oh Blooie I forgot to mention that I think it is the week of attack birds or something because yesterday when we were coming home we were walking from the platform into the train station and a pigeon flew outside like a bat out of $&”& and almost hit me in the face!!!
 
Kelsey, that was a miscalculation on the pigeon’s part - as I can now say from personal experience, that’s far different than an attack. :lau

Sean, got it! Now I know where the expression “grouse” came from when describing grouchy people! :old The battle wounds are looking a little better, which really isn’t saying much. The eye is back to normal size with just one little mark left. But what’s going to bring on the teasing in Tucson is the hillbilly hickie on my neck. Just two tiny hickie marks with a little gap between them. Looks like I went to a drive-in movie with a hillbilly sporting only two teeth.

Debby, hope the new employee works out. Just let her know that if she gets physical with you, Bruce is on duty!
