Oops, I may not have said it here (sorry too many threads)... about 11 days ago, he managed to impale his right rear inner thigh on something that we are guessing is metal and about 1" wide and razor thin. He had a ton of fur in the wound, so much so that the vet couldn't get it all out. So my working dog has been in the house with the cone of shame for the last 10 days. He's healed up nicely and is cleared to go back to work. But we're going to limit his time outside for the next few days just out of caution.
