Folks, this is one I've never figured out... I've never been able to make a hot dog taste as good as it does at the ball park. I truly think the flavor is environmental an not culinary

Some folks tell me they use a swamp cooler . Don't know what that is

A swamp cooler, or evaporative cooler, is the opposite of an air conditioner. An AC works by removing humid air. A swamp cooler works by pumping humid air in. There are little perforated water tubes inside the cooler that look sort of like an octopus. Cold water from a longer tube attached to the outdoor spigot fills the base of the unit and that’s pumped up and through those small ones. The water from them drips down, keeping big pads saturated. A blower motor captures the cold, moist air and vents it into the house. They are ideal for hot, dry areas like ours.

Forgot the store had 10cent ears of corn

How far did those ears have to travel? I always wait for the "picked this morning" corn at the farmer's market.

I used to ride my bike to the farmers place to buy corn. It was sure good!
