DMC, I’d rather give a cat a bath than a pill! As long as I worked in the vets’ offices in Illinois and in Mississippi, that was a job I did only once and got out of every single time from that time on!

This is my mellow cat. I hope it goes smoothly.

I wish! She got spayed at 3. She’s 9 now. We’re lucky she didn’t get pregnant though because she used to go out all the time and one time disappeared for a couple days. Now we keep her inside or just occasionally let her out and sit with her. And usually she only goes on the deck and garden sunning herself and wants to come in after a couple hours guess her teenage party days are over.

All the males around here must be sterile or already neutered or something though considering she never got pregnant.

She definitely used to bring all the boys to the yard though.

Now that she’s fixed they don’t show up. Figures. LOL

I would have loved kittens. But she’s pretty small so I think she might have had a rough pregnancy anyway. From what I hear though, the rag doll breed is very similar temperament. And very pricey haha

Edited: Just checked the calendars....Ken’s estimate of time away from home was a bit off. From 8/13/18 until 8/12/19, we will have only been HOME 163 days, GONE 201 days. No wonder I’m so darned tired!!

Crazy storms all over New England today. We were driving through some of the downpours but thankfully they kinda stopped so we just missed most of it. Just watched the news and lots of people had huge trees toppled over, cars and houses hit, boats flipped, power outages, hail, lightning, crazy winds, etc. and of course tons of rain. And it all happened so fast mostly. Even scarier. Thankful we missed it.

Thanks, Deb. I am just so proud of Ken. The Masonic saying is that they “take good men, and make them better.” Well, this slightly biased lady thinks Ken took a good organization and made it better.
