I did a search for recipes, there are a ton of them available. Haven't sorted through to see which sounds good though.

We have a small pear tree..it's old..gives small fruit but they are really good tasting. ..Had a nice summer rain 2days ago, now back to triple digits. . I don't do heat. Can't wait for the fall temps.

Fall temps are nice but quickly turn into winter temps. Brrr.

Not really. I cleaned the coop, now I'm making a mental list for the grocery store and getting that done. Igor is working. I was thinking about doing the tutorial article you suggested for the poop scoop today. What about you?

Do the poop scoop article IM! I've read 100's of articles here and your idea is better than a lot of them. Plus, I like the cost factor

I don't think I've ever tasted a pear cake but the way @007Sean described his experience with one, it sounds wonderful. Right now I have a whole lotta bananas I need to use up but will have to keep that pear cake thought in mind.

Cyn, do you do any baking? Maybe you could try a pear cake recipe using your tree's fruit and give us a review (or a picture ).

Ugh, triple digits aren't any fun. We've had temps in the 90's here and that's more than hot enough for me. Hope you cool off soon!
