I agree but this is in the contract that would work weekends if needed.

Got a shredder? Jk, I know...I just think it's terrible that at our age we should be working weekends or have to split our days off because of whatever...I wish I was independently wealthy so I could quit my job in protest!

I had to work Saturdays when I had the grooming shop because it was the busiest day of the week. But I needed the $$$ and I was only 20 at the time.

Home from Cheyenne. Unpacked what we wore, that stuff is being washed. Stupid as it sounds, I have to unpack the rest of the stuff in order to pack for Sheridan.

I better get to sleep. Tomorrow is already shaping up to be quite the busy day. Was gonna make it a “make appointments” type of day because I have a lot of appointments to make (doctor, dentist, hair cut, etc.) but then my mom said she wants to do something, like go for a walk or work on the garden and/or buy stuff for it or something, and my friend just asked if I could help them get a car tomorrow so I said I would. Just a ride there I think but still. So busy day lol

Doubt I’ll be up in time to do much with my mom at this rate because it’s after 2am here and I didn’t sleep much last night and got up way too early today (7:30) so I’m exhausted but we’ll see haha I don’t have to help my friend till like 4ish.

Anyway, don’t really want to but agreed because there’s not really anyone else to drive and I haven’t seen them in forever so it’ll be good. Even if it is only for the ride there haha

Been meaning to text them and ask if they want to go to the movies or something anyway so I’ll ask that tomorrow.

So anyway, busy day tomorrow.

I had a ton planned for it but now have had plans made for me it seems but sometimes that’s for the best haha we’ll see. Sometimes the best days are the ones where you chuck the plans out the window and make it up as you go along

Might go to Tractor Supply too or our local feed store and look at chicks and/or inquire about eggs (at the local store).... don’t know yet but either way it will be good because I spent waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too much time on the phone today..... like hours straight/all night. so it’ll be good to get off it tomorrow. Anyway, I better go to sleep.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the kind messages you guys. As much work as it is, I'll miss the restaurant. But this time of year, things slow down and we just haven't had enough business to warrant staying open. And of course, the lack of personnel. So "A" and I'll be taking care of the pro shop and the bar. I've done that in the past, the worst part is that goes until mid-October instead of being done first part of September. Guess that's good for my paycheck.

Bob, I get it when you mentioned some time away. But maybe doing as Sour mentioned and just cutting back works instead of total withdrawal. We'd all miss you and your .

DMC, what are you going to do with a bunch of full-size pumpkins? Pumpkin maze, anyone?
