The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

dr said i don't have lymes, the test he gave me that i didn't know about said so but the test he ran today is suppose to make sure i don't have one of the others
one way i would be happy to hear i have something to account for feeling like this but i don't want any thing else since i already feel like crap most of the time:confused:
Ok, I'm behind here on your symptoms. Are they just in certain areas..like the joints? Just from what I'm reading, I'm seeing it's more than a particular area...all over unwell feeling?

Just out of curiosity, Cap, have you been tested for Sarcoidosis? Your symptoms, and super hard to track down findings, sound exactly like Ken’s did when he first got it. Most doctors don’t even know to look for it, although it’s becoming more common. Just a thought. Sarcoidosis affects just about everybody differently. Ken was diagnosed in 1979.

i have to admit that i was surprised that dr was willing for me to have a blood test, no fasting or anything . husband had a dr's appt and the hospital is on the way to his dr so i went in and had my blood taken, so done until the test come back, my dr. also said it sounded like i was depressed, yeah guess i am cause i feel so tired all the time, losing sleep, hurting, i think dr got the idea that something was wrong cause i told him that i even didn't even want to play in the garden alot of the time, which he knows i love the garden , he offered me medication but i turned it down, don't want to take anything else
maybe cap we can find out whats going on with us and maybe, just maybe its something simple to fix:fl
We can always hope. Hugs.

well my back, hips hurt, always tired, even first thing when i wake up, sometimes my head hurt almost like when my sinus's are bothering me, just an overall feeling of bahh i push myself in the garden and thats just not me, i love playing in the dirt, just not so much lately :idunno

That was great! I love the tie idea, and what a sweetheart of a guy! Also you said......I know it’s hard - we go in with the best intentions and then we sort of melt and suddenly just find ourselves nodding instead of speaking up. I do it all the time, .....and I say...Not Me!! I've been through too many Drs and hospitals between our son, my husband, and myself to keep my mouth shut. Now I'll admit..there will be times I'll think of something after I leave, and think, why didn't ask that? Need to start writing down what I want to ask. I'm getting older don't ya know?? :p
I always make a list, surely the doctor hates the sight of it.

Not yet, but going in Tuesday to ask for more testing.

Here's something to boost the spirits!
