The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Was this the thread where everyone was talking about the salads? I sometimes get the threads mixed up.

well my back, hips hurt, always tired, even first thing when i wake up, sometimes my head hurt almost like when my sinus's are bothering me, just an overall feeling of bahh i push myself in the garden and thats just not me, i love playing in the dirt, just not so much lately :idunno
Soo, guessing that Fibro had been thought of. When I was diagnosed years ago, I was reading up on it like no other. Laughed at first, then started noticing how certain things made sense. Especially surprised at the points. I always wondered why both arms were so tender and then had so much pain when I was bumped or elbowed in that one little spot. I have several spots like that. I was tired, would get the low grade fever/chills, with no cold or flu bug. Migraines, for years now. All of these things still going on. Doc had me try different meds. I said ..no thanks after trying a couple. I have Meniere's disease as it is, I don't need meds that make you woozy. I thought, if anything big comes along, I'll take meds. One I agree on is Cipro. I will take it when my interstitial cystitis flares. A low dose of Celexa..20mg.... because yes, being in pain most of the time can be stressful. I've had MRI'S, I do have white matter .. they were thinking MS because my legs do give out. I have good days and bad days. I won't do the spinal tap. Tired of it all. Went to so many docs back in the 90's. Then year before last I went to a Neurologist because I couldn't walk straight. Fell down stairs, had shoulder surgery. ..... I feel old...lol... Anyway, he was great! Spent 2 and a half hrs in there with me. That's when I had yet another MRI done and he is the one that saw the white matter. I have Peripheral Neuropathy, hands and feet.. numbness in them.. Occipital Neuralgia, (cause of migraines)..and Myelopathy... because of compression of discs in my spine..neck. Have bars and screws in my neck .. and yes, I could go on. It's ridiculous! But, I get along. Interesting how our bodies get used to things. I go with the flow of whatever flares up. Treat that symptom, feel well for a while, then hopefully nothing happens for a while. Been good for too long I guess. I'm having problems with what I call my woozy head now. Back to my cane until it gets better. That one never leaves me completely. Just glad it gets better to the point I don't need the cane. Whew..I knew I could write a book about ...me. :D. First time I've shared this much. I used to start to try and explain years ago, I could almost see the eyes roll, so, I stopped trying to explain why I had to stay at home for a bit. Sorry guys..took up a whole page.. Not sure what got me going.

I was reading about Lyme disease, the antibiotics don't necessarily make it go away. Ugh, I hope I have no other tick borne diseases.
That is what happened to my friend. She said the bugs go into hiding.
I Throw sliced cucumber and Sliced onions into a container and fill it part way with vinegar and a little dill pickle juice. And Salt pepper and ground garlic or fresh sliced garlic.... After about an hour you can use the sliced onions on sandwiches or saute along with fish... I lay it on the bottom of the pan and lay the fisth on top... and do a steam saute... not qite poached but you just put a lid over and cook genltly...
The fish cooks in its own juices or you can drizzle a little bit of chicken stock in the pan...

After a Day the cucumber and onions can be used in salads or with sliced tomato and Fresh Mozzarella slices Basil Sliced up and drizzled with a bit of Basalmic Good olive oil... And Craked pepper and sea salt..... Caprese salads are to die for...

You can also do Caprese Salads with Fresh slices of mozzerella Slices of peaches or fruit Some berries Sliced up basil and Basalmic and olive oil
